Local pastors continue to meet each Wednesday for prayer and support of one another and the programs of Character Education.  All pastors are encouraged to attend and draw strength from each other during this difficult time.

Mrs. Nancy Taylor reported that First Methodist Church gave Goodie Baskets with Cheezits for the Pre-School section of Taylor County Primary School.  Their Angel Tree for 14 Preschool Age Students included books, games and puzzles with an Educational Focus as well as toys and clothes.  They also took Cheezits snacks for the High School.

Mrs. Marylin Green reported that she and Ms. Barbara Wynn gave homemade jelly and peanut butter to the High School staff as well as homemade cookies.  Over the past few months they have given hand sanitizer, paper towels, teacher supplies, tissues, note calendars and pens.  For the first day of school, they gave coffee, chocolate, donuts.

Steinhatchee has been very active doing things to encourage their teachers.  They plan to have a Valentine grab bag for all the students.

Mr. Paul spoke to about 140 students at FCA in January and told them a story about a snake, a wasp, and a wagon wheel.  He reports that in Steinhatchee some coaches are ready to start working with students one on one.

Ways You Can Help

We need one person or one group that can help us show our support for the Transportation Department and/or the Administrative Complex.  If you would like to spend some time encouraging and recognizing these workers on their special days, please contact us to volunteer.   There are other ways you can be involved in helping us help students and staff.  Contact us at 850-223-1025 to find out how.

Special thanks to supporters Paul Peavy and Jeff Stading as well as the following Bronze supporters.
