Today's youth are sadly lacking the character, morals, and values that once was a standard for success. Character traits like honestly, citizenship, trustworthiness, responsibility, kindness, fairness, forgiveness, friendship compassion, patience, and respect are all targeted by CEN. To help develop Character Education in k-5 through 12th grade as well as at TTI To work with existing staff and programs To provide material and personnel To help our youth understand that CHARACTER is the core of who we are! Developing sound moral character is the greatest lesson we can teach our youth. These programs and presentations help to build a foundation in the lives of our young people who will soon be our community leaders.
All churches in Taylor County are encouraged to participate by sending your congregation or a designated group to the schools on August 6 at 7:00 PM.
Schools participating are Perry Primary, Taylor County Elementary School and Taylor County High School. There will be a leader present at each school.
Our School Superintendent’s theme for the year is to “Elevate Taylor County”. We would like to strengthen and encourage him and our staff by participating in one of the key elements of elevating Taylor County, which is prayer. We invite you to come pray for our Leadership, Educators, Support Staff and children. Take a moment to check out the video in this letter.
Let’s Elevate Taylor County through prayer. Come and join us and invite others.
