Prayer WalkHello everyone. I hope you had a great summer and ready to have a great school year.

Andrew (Video Technician) and Maria his wife and our secretary have moved to a new ministry opportunity. They will be inn training for the next two years. We wish them well.

We welcome our new secretary Ms. Mary Blue. We are look forward to working together and making a difference in Taylor County.

Our new board was established. Founder Mr. Paul Nawlin, David Stephens and Jim Brannan. Also looking forward to establishing and working with an advisory Board as well.

Mr. Paul has made several trips over the summer to share CEN twice in Jacksonville, Florida. In his travels he presented in Chiefland, Florida and Georgia and twice locally Calvary Baptist Church and pleasant Grove Baptist Church.

In Other School NewsDistrict School meeting for all staff was held on August 6th at 8:00 a. m. Mr. Paul spoke on (“Don’t throw out the towel”). Thanks to everyone for helping.

T.C.H.S./T.C.E. S lunch was served to all staff on August 9th at 11:00 a.m. Thanks to Adopt A Grade staff, Churches.

T.C.M.S. lunch for at staff on August 10th at 11:00 a.m. Thanks to Cornerstone.

Freshman ordination at T.C.H.S. at 1:00 p.m. Mr. Paul was asked to speak briefly to parents and introduce Jason Naes and Ron Hagberg. Ron Hagberg will introduce to the parents the opportunities available for student.

The Prayer Walk was held on Sunday August 16th at 6:00 p.m. This was held at all Taylor County Schools and had an attention of over 100 participants.

The Taylor County School System held a mentoring meeting in the School Board room on August 15th at 10:30 a.m. Great Attendance.

adopt a grade updatePerry Primary was treated to a luncheon by the 1st Baptist Church and Taylor County Farm Bureau as a welcome back to school. Pleasant Grove Baptist Church has agreed to Adopt the 1st Grade. First Baptist Church has agreed to Adopt the 2nd Grade and will begin an individual mentoring program.

FCA

On  Wednesday 8-22-18. We had the greatest attendance of any meeting so for 408 students. The CMA chapter was there to present. The CMA is the Christian Motorcyclist Association. John Fish gave a brief overview of CMA and how the CMA and FCA are alike.
